Dr. Robert LiKamWa

Dr. LiKamWa develops systems for real-time, perceptual, and collaborative XR experiences. His Experiential Pixels Lab in Rice ECE explores how software, hardware, and spatial interfaces come together to support immersive storytelling, data sensemaking, and human-centered design.

Dr. LiKamWa also holds a joint appointment as an Associate Professor at Houston Methodist. Through the Bookout Center he is responsible for advancing XR integration into medicine through collaborative research, technology development, and clinical integration.
